Pr\u00e9nom, nom. Pr\u00e9nom, nom&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>C&rsquo;est la liste des noms de tous les \u00eatres humains.<\/p>\n<p>Tout le monde est nomm\u00e9, et tous les noms sont affich\u00e9s avec la m\u00eame importance visuelle. La liste n&rsquo;est ni chronologique ni alphab\u00e9tique. La police de caract\u00e8res, la taille d&rsquo;affichage et la vitesse de d\u00e9filement permettent la lecture de chaque nom. Le Grand G\u00e9n\u00e9rique est une oeuvre d&rsquo;art con\u00e7ue pour \u00eatre expos\u00e9e sur \u00e9cran, dans une sc\u00e9nographie renvoyant \u00e0 l&rsquo;univers de la salle de cin\u00e9ma.<\/p>\n<p>Lors de ses expositions, le Grand G\u00e9n\u00e9rique affiche en priorit\u00e9 les noms des personnes li\u00e9es \u00e0 la ville et au contexte artistique de l&rsquo;exposition. Il cr\u00e9e ainsi un lien miroir avec les spectateurs.\u00a0Les noms sont affich\u00e9s dans l&rsquo;alphabet local et mis en forme selon les us de l&rsquo;endroit et de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque.<\/p>\n<p>Il est important que tout le monde soit nomm\u00e9. Cette oeuvre d&rsquo;art g\u00e9n\u00e9rative infinie s&rsquo;appuie sur internet et une logistique de r\u00e9seau pour construire effectivement la liste des noms de tous les \u00eatres humains. Par exemple, chaque exposition du Grand G\u00e9n\u00e9rique est l&rsquo;occasion de collecter la liste des noms des personnes li\u00e9es \u00e0 l&rsquo;exposition. C&rsquo;est \u00e0 travers ces additions successives, ainsi que diverses autres collaborations individuelles ou administratives sur internet, que la base de donn\u00e9es se construit au fur et \u00e0 mesure. La logique de l&rsquo;ordre d&rsquo;affichage refl\u00e8te ce processus de construction. Il a pour but de n&rsquo;oublier personne et de se maintenir toujours \u00e0 jour en incluant les nouvelles naissances. Seuls les noms sont affich\u00e9s, aucune autre information directe relative \u00e0 la personne n&rsquo;est collect\u00e9e, stock\u00e9e ou list\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>C&rsquo;est Le Grand G\u00e9n\u00e9rique de tous les \u00eatres humains.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Concept artistique<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Extrapolant les 15 minutes de c\u00e9l\u00e9brit\u00e9 warholiennes dans notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9mocratique du spectacle, Le Grand G\u00e9n\u00e9rique donne \u00e0 chacun effectivement sa place au g\u00e9n\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n<p>Mais quel est le film ? Y a-t-il un sc\u00e9nario ? Qui l&rsquo;a \u00e9crit ? Les choses sont-elles pr\u00e9-programm\u00e9es, ou bien chacun est-il encore libre de ses actes ?
