\nImaginary Landscape est une oeuvre multim\u00e9dia en ligne, un site, un point de vue sur un paysage virtuel interactif. Ce site utilise la carte dynamique Google Maps pour g\u00e9n\u00e9rer une repr\u00e9sentation du monde \u00e0 travers les flux d\u2019informations de source fran\u00e7aise qui circulent sur la toile.<\/p>\n

Le paysage d\u2019Imaginary Landscape est compos\u00e9 de la vue a\u00e9rienne par satellite de la terre sur laquelle se superposent des titres d\u2019articles \u00e9mis par les m\u00e9dias fran\u00e7ais. Le texte vient s\u2019ancrer sur la carte en fonction des donn\u00e9es extraites de l\u2019article qui permettent de localiser l\u2019information. Les titres s’accumulent en nuages de mots au dessus de points sur la carte qui correspondent aux zones g\u00e9ographiques dont parlent les articles. Ces nuages s\u2019amoncellent et se d\u00e9placent suivant l\u2019actualit\u00e9 climatique de l\u2019information.<\/p>\n

Imaginary Landscape est une repr\u00e9sentation de l’imaginaire fran\u00e7ais sur son rapport \u00e0 l’\u00e9tranger. En utilisant l\u2019outil zoom on arrive \u00e0 un niveau qui permet de situer plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment l\u2019information et de lire le texte. En cliquant dessus, on peut lire la totalit\u00e9 du contenu de l\u2019article diffus\u00e9. Un nuage de mots vient r\u00e9pertorier et classer les mots utilis\u00e9s dans la masse des articles qui alimentent le paysage. Ils permettent de visualiser la quantit\u00e9 d’articles dans lesquels on les retrouve. Le visiteur peut lui m\u00eame effectuer une recherche de mot cl\u00e9. Ce travail est un hommage \u00e0 l’oeuvre \u00ab\u00a0Imaginary Landscapes n\u00b04\u00a0\u00bb de John Cage, et son travail sur \u00ab l’ind\u00e9termination… \u00ab\u00a0The idea of relation being absent, anything may happen. A \u203amistake\u2039 is beside the point, for once anything happens it authentically is. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Imaginary Landscape is an on-line multimedia work, a site, a point of view on an interactive virtual landscape. This site uses the dynamic map \u00ab Google Maps \u00bb to generate a representation of the world through web feed (news) of French source which circulate on the web.<\/p>\n

The landscape consists of an aerial view by satellite of the earth, on which overlap titles articles emitted by the French media. The text anchor itself on the map according to the data extracted of article which allow to localize the information. The titles agglomerate themselves in white clouds above points on the map which correspond to the geographical zones which correspond to the geographical zones in the content of articles . These clouds accumulate themselves and move according to climatic current events of information.<\/p>\n

Imaginary Landscape is a representation of the French imaginary of its relationship with abroad, territories except its borders. By using the zoom, we arrive at a level which allows to place more exactly the information and to read the text. By clicking above, we can read the totality of the contents of the article. A cloud of words comes to list and to classify the words used in the mass of articles which feed the landscape. They allow to show the quantity of articles in which we find them. The visitor can even subject him a keyword to the research.
