Au fil des avanc\u00e9es technologiques dans le domaine du num\u00e9rique, il d\u00e9tourne des donn\u00e9es disponibles sur la toile, des logiciels et leur usage, exp\u00e9rimente les erreurs et les incidents.<\/p>\n<p>Ses \u0153uvres r\u00e9sultent souvent de donn\u00e9es codifi\u00e9es ou d\u2019un protocole \u00e9tabli \u2013 parfois g\u00e9n\u00e9ratif \u2013 et r\u00e9v\u00e8lent une profusion de repr\u00e9sentations al\u00e9atoires et fragmentaires.<\/p>\n<p>Esth\u00e9tiquement, c\u2019est \u00e0 travers les espaces monochromes et minimalistes qu\u2019il traduit sa perception du monde contemporain, se d\u00e9tachant de plus en plus de la \u00ab\u00a0mati\u00e8re\u00a0\u00bb internet elle-m\u00eame pour repr\u00e9senter cet autre espace-temps.<\/p>\n<p>Il a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 <a href=\"http:\/\/xx.acces-s.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Melting Point<\/a> en 2020, \u00e0 <a href=\"http:\/\/red.reynalddrouhin.net\/archive\/web-retro-seoul-museum-of-art\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Retro Web<\/a> en Cor\u00e9e en 2019, \u00a0en 2015 \u00e0 l&rsquo;exposition collective <a href=\"http:\/\/red.reynalddrouhin.net\/archive\/capturer-lephemere\/\">Capturer l&rsquo;\u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re<\/a> et \u00e0 <a href=\"http:\/\/red.reynalddrouhin.net\/archive\/photo-london\/\">Photo London<\/a>\u00a0avec la galerie Vanessa Quang,\u00a0\u00e0 <a href=\"http:\/\/variationparis.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Variation<\/a>\u00a0en 2015 et 2014,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/showoffparis.fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Show Off Lab\u2019 2012<\/a>, aux \u00e9v\u00e9nements organis\u00e9s par <a href=\"http:\/\/www.digitalarti.com\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Digital Arti<\/a> (2011), \u00e0 la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lesateliersderennes.fr\">biennale de Rennes<\/a> (2010), il a entre autres pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 son travail \u00e0 la <a href=\"http:\/\/numeriscausa.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">galerie Numeriscausa<\/a> pour les expositions \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/red.reynalddrouhin.net\/archive\/ghost-walk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ghost Walk<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb (2009) et \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/red.reynalddrouhin.net\/archive\/galerie-numeriscausa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Il \u00e9tait une fois\u2026<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb (2007), \u00e0 la galerie des beaux-arts de Lorient (\u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/red.reynalddrouhin.net\/archive\/sans-titre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sans titre<\/a>\u00ab\u00a0, 2006), \u00e0 la Biche de Bere Gallery (\u00ab\u00a0Natural\/Digital\u00a0\u00bb, 2005), \u00e0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.confluences.net\/avril.exe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Confluences<\/a> (2003), \u00e0 la galerie Public (2001), au Festival international d\u2019arts multim\u00e9dias urbains de Belfort (2000), \u00e0 la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ciac.ca\/biennale2000\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">biennale de Montr\u00e9al<\/a> et \u00e0 la manifestation internationale vid\u00e9o &amp; art \u00e9lectronique organis\u00e9e par <a href=\"http:\/\/www.champlibre.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Champ Libre<\/a> (Montr\u00e9al, 2000 et 1999) et \u00e0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artic.edu\/webspaces\/isea97\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ISEA<\/a> (Chicago, 1997).<\/p>\n<p>Il a \u00e9galement re\u00e7u plusieurs prix et mentions dont l&rsquo;allocation d&rsquo;installation d&rsquo;atelier (AIA, 2015, avec Sophie Blum), l\u2019aide \u00e0 la Cr\u00e9ation Multim\u00e9dia Exp\u00e9rimentale (Arcadi, 2007), la bourse d\u00e9partementale d\u2019aide individuelle \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation du <a href=\"http:\/\/macval.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MAC\/VAL<\/a> (2005), le Grand Prix <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scam.fr\/Dossiers\/prix2003\/prixtechno.html?PHPSESSID=76f3244377deee31404d0b66ffca062a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scam<\/a> de l\u2019oeuvre d\u2019art num\u00e9rique interactive (2003), le Prix vid\u00e9o du <a href=\"http:\/\/www.galerie-esca.com\/video_fiav01.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FIAV<\/a> \u00e0 Tanger (2001), le Grand Prix au Cyberfestival \u00e0 Rueil-Malmaison ainsi que le prix Multim\u00e9dia de la DRAC Auvergnes-<a href=\"http:\/\/www.videoformes-fest.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vid\u00e9oformes<\/a> (1999).<br \/>\nIl a accompli plusieurs r\u00e9sidences : \u00e0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chartreuse.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La Chartreuse<\/a> en France (2011), \u00e0 Europ\u00e9o en Italie (2001), au <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cicv.fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CICV<\/a> \u00e0 Belfort (2000-01), au <a href=\"http:\/\/www.c3.hu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">C3<\/a> \u00e0 Budapest (2000) et \u00e0 <a href=\"http:\/\/artserver.cfa.cmu.edu:8080\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carnegie Mellon University<\/a> \u00e0 Pittsburgh (1997).<\/p>\n<p>Repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par la galerie <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paris-art.com\/lieux\/numeriscausa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Numeriscausa<\/a><sup id=\"cite_ref-20\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup> de 2004 \u00e0 2009, par la <a href=\"https:\/\/myartyshow.wordpress.com\/2010\/09\/15\/la-dexter-gallery-une-galerie-nomade-au-coeur-de-l\u2019art\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dexter Gallery<\/a><sup id=\"cite_ref-21\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup> de 2010 \u00e0 2012, et par la galerie <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comitedesgaleriesdart.com\/galeries\/galerie-vanessa-quang\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vanessa Quang<\/a> de 2015 \u00e0 2016.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.reynalddrouhin.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.reynalddrouhin.net<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">Born in 1969. Lives and works in Paris. Reynald Drouhin has always experiments internet medium by seeking to represent it. In the course of technology advances in digital technology domain, it diverts the data available on the web, software and usage, experiment errors and incidents. His works are often the result of codified data or an established protocol \u2013 sometimes generative \u2013 and reveal a wealth of random and fragmentary representations. Aesthetically, it is through the monochrome and minimalist space that reflects his perception of the contemporary world, standing out more and more of the \u201cmatter\u201d internet itself to represent this other space-time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">He studied plastic arts at the Fine Arts School of Paris (DNSAP, 1998), obtained the Hypermedia Multimedia Mast\u00e8re (ENSBA, 1998), and a Master at the University of Paris 1 (1994).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">Drouhin has shown his work at the Biche de Bere Gallery&rsquo;s Natural \/ Digital (2005), at Confluences (2003), at the Public gallery (2001), at the International festival of urban multimedia arts of Belfort, at the Montreal biennial (2000) and the international demonstration of video and electronic art organized by Champ Libre (1999). He also participated in Imagina in Monaco (1998) and ISEA (1997) in Chicago.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">He has received several prizes and distinctions including from the Mus\u00e9e d&rsquo;art contemporain du Val-de-Marne MAC\/VAL (2005), the Scam\u2019s Great Award for digital interactive art work (2003), the FIAV&rsquo;s video award (Tangier 2001), the Great Award at the Cyberfestival in Rueil-Malmaison, as well as the Multimedia Award of the Auvergnes-Videoformes DRAC (1999).
