Quiconque peut ajouter le (ou les) flux de son choix afin d\u2019alimenter la grille. Le projet donne ainsi \u00e0 voir une tranche de temps sans d\u00e9but ni fin, tel un rhizome, et r\u00e9v\u00e8le l\u2019humeur du temps (\u00abZeitgeist\u00bb) par l\u2019accumulation ou la r\u00e9p\u00e9tition d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments marquants dans l\u2019actualit\u00e9 du net.<br \/>\nLa fresque subit les assauts des vagues de mises \u00e0 jour du flux, cr\u00e9ant le remous et la perp\u00e9tuelle recomposition de la grille. Celle-ci, mouvante, semble prendre vie ; elle dessine un ruban infini d\u2019images qui se d\u00e9roule tout au long du mur. La mosa\u00efque telle qu\u2019elle est \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent n\u2019est d\u00e9j\u00e0 plus : \u00ab carpe diem \u00bb permanent, elle est par essence \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re, par la rapidit\u00e9 d\u2019affichage des images et leur disparition.<br \/>\nA tout moment, il est possible de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer une archive grand format, Capture d\u2019un instantan\u00e9 de la grille, et de figer ainsi la mosa\u00efque comme un ensemble, la verrouiller entre deux instants.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00ab\u00a0Mais ce qui me frappe avec GridFlow c\u2019est la sensation de vertige qu\u2019il engendre, comme un tourbillon dans un torrent. Il rend tangible un web qui n\u2019est que surface (m\u00eame si on peut cliquer sur chaque image pour acc\u00e9der au site d\u2019o\u00f9 elle provient, on tend \u00e0 rester devant le flux), suite d\u2019images sans identit\u00e9, sans ancrage, qui se substituent les unes aux autres dans une \u00e9quivalence indiff\u00e9rente, d\u2019o\u00f9 l\u2019\u00e9paisseur des mots aurait disparue, d\u2019o\u00f9 le sens, s\u2019il \u00e9merge, est imm\u00e9diatement emport\u00e9, o\u00f9 l\u2019important n\u2019est pas de lire mais de publier, le plus vite possible. Anyone may add the flow(s) of their choice to feed the grid. The project thus displays a slice of time with no beginning and no end, similar to a rhizome, revealing the mood of the moment (zeitgeist) throught accumulation or repetition of key events in current web news.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #808080;\"> The fresco permanently undergoes waves of flow updates, creating an undertow and a perpetual reprocessing of the grid. The latter moves, seeming to come to life\u2026 formulating an infinite ribbon of images unrolling over the length of the wall.
